Math Fest Spring 2021

Welcome to the Mathematics & Statistics Department virtual celebration of our students, faculty, and staff. This event is comprised of three parts; a Virtual Gallery of Creative & Scholarly Works, a M*A*T*H Colloquium talk, and a Departmental Awards Ceremony.

The Virtual Gallery of Creative & Scholarly Works consists of student, faculty, and staff submissions that reflect on the past year's trials and triumphs. Enjoy photos of our Department in their favorite masks, the work of our students, and much more! The gallery will be available here on our website for the remainder of the semester.

This year's featured M*A*T*H Colloquium talk is titled, "Social Justice, “Citizenship,” Community, and Math Education" and is presented by Carrie Diaz Eaton of Bates College. The talk is on Wednesday April 21, 2021 at 4:00 PM. For more information and the zoom link, visit our Colloquium webpage

At 6:00 PM on Wednesday April 21, 2021, the Department will host an Awards Ceremony to honor our students. The Awards Ceremony will be on Zoom, using the same link as the Colloquium. We encourage our students to share the link with their friends and family, come connect and celebrate with us!
